Due to the weather, the weights were slightly lower than expected. However, there were still plenty of bites to be had for all the anglers. Taking a comfortable win from peg 14 was Joe Green (Westwood Lakes), he’s fished pellets short and down his edges feeding small amounts of bait; to weigh a fantastic 134lb 12oz, beating Richard Kinnersley (Westwood Lakes) into second. Richard’s fished maggots short on peg 12 to land over 60 f1s for a weight of 108lb 8oz. Finally completing the frame was Mick Stamp (Westwood Lakes). He’s rotated a few lines to keep bites coming throughout the day. He’s finished with a weight of 102lb 12oz.
