Open Match 18/04/2021 – Skylark
With the whole 42 pegs being used for the open match, the fishing was made difficult due to the lack of space. However, there where still bites to be had for all the competitors. Winning from peg 40 was Ricky Leggett (Westwood Lakes) he’s caught in steady spells throughout the day to weigh 88lb. Runner up on the day was Dynamite baits backed Sam Collett. He’s caught by alternating a couple of lines across to the mudline with pellets to weigh 83lb 8oz. Finally, third place went to Alistair Ogilvie (Sensas) who’s fished maggots and groundbait across for a weight of 73lb 8oz.
