Monday 26th August – Swallow Lake (20 Anglers)
With the hot weather the anglers struggled to catch shallow , but Richard Kinnersley (Westwood Lakes) adapted to this situation and caught some big fish off peg 20 by fishing pellets down the edge to catch fish to 15lb. Richard took the match by storm weighing in 197lb 8oz. In second was method man Roy Wells (Westwood Lakes) from peg 15 with 134lb 0oz. In third was Tony Evans (Westwood Lakes) from peg 18 with 111lb 0oz.
