Maver Baitech anglers were in top form today, taking the first four places in the open. Leading the way was Toby Pepper (Maver/Baitech) on Peg 13 fishing across with red maggot over dead reds, to win with 82lbs 0oz. Mainly Barbel with the odd Carp was Tobys catch. Alistair Ogilvie (Maver/Baitech) Peg 10 fished pellet across to catch mainly Carp for 71lbs 10oz. Third place was Mick Dixon (Maver/Baitech) with 58lbs 4oz all Barbel on chopped worm and caster from Peg 1. Brian Harding (Maver/Baitech) Peg 16 was fourth with 50lbs 8oz of mainly Ide.
