General Information
We are open from 8am to 6pm. Day ticket £5 per rod. Guest ticket £4 per day or £25
per week.
Only 1 rod per angler. All anglers must bring their own landing pole, poles
are available to purchase from our bait and tackle shop. All fish must be landed
by landing net. Running feeder only. Barbless hooks only. No boilies, buzzer bars,
floating baits. No cat or dog meat. No keep nets.
All barbel caught must be given
time to recover in landing net before being returned to the lake. If all lakes are
booked please ask at reception which you can fish, as not all pegs may be booked.
Day tickets must be purchased from reception before you are able to fish. If you
have booked a match please pay at reception. You must use keep nets and landing nets
provided, you cannot share a net. All nets must be returned to reception area. Do
not under any circumstance move any net from one lake to another. Remove all litter.
Please respect other anglers.
Kingfisher Lake
Description
An old established lake and has two islands. Average match weights 100lb
as recorded in the Angling Times.
Carp to 20lb are common.
Fish
Carp to 20lb. Barbel to 10lb.
Tench to 8lb. Bream to 8lb.
Recommendation
Line weight: 8lb maximum.
Hook size: No hook beyond a size 12 and must
be barbless.
Bait: maggots, paste, worm, pellet,
luncheon meat, sweetcorn.
Top Tip
Using 2ml micro pellet or 4ml sinking pellet, throw in a handful every 10
mins.
