Todays Open Match was put on Kestrel Lake, to give the other lakes a rest after a busy Bank Holiday Weekend. Tim Haynes (WWLakes) was on Peg 6 and won with 61lbs 0oz, taking the £200 golden peg as well. Tim fished to the corner of the island on expander pellet over 2mm feed pellet to catch mainly Carp. In second was Shane Wilcox (Daves Peg) Peg 27 weighing 57lbs 0oz, and Steve Lane (Maruyku/WWLakes) Peg 29 was third with 47lbs 0oz.
