Probably the hottest day of the year so far, see the Open Match on Hawk Lake produce for the anglers. Mick Stamp (Sonubaits/Preston) was on Peg 2, and with Peg 1 not in he fished towards the spare peg and won the match with 92lbs 12oz. Mick caught Carp, Barbel and Ide on maggot and pellet. In second was Alistair Oglivie (Maver Image) Peg 12 with 81lbs 12oz. Third placed angler was Ade Freeman (Miracle Baits) Peg 15 with 67lbs 14oz.
