With the lake being partially frozen over, it was always going to be a big ask to coax the fish into feeding with any form of aggression and that proved to be the case. Baz Bright (RAF Garbolino) fished to the far shelf on peg 39 to take the win on expander pellet over 2mm feed pellet. Baz needed just 45lb 4oz of F1 Carp for his narrow win over, in second Martin Kirk (Westwood Lakes) Peg 7 with 38lb 15oz. Third placed angler was Luke Morley (Westwood Lakes) Peg 47 with 32lb 9oz.
