Sunday 24th August 2014 (50 anglers) Skylark & Falcon Lake
After day 1 the scene was set for a fantastic final day. With six anglers all on one point it was always going to be down to the draw. Drawn on Skylark Lake Peg 8 the Sensas A4 backed Tom Edwards fancied his chances to burst a few anglers bubbles with another section win. Tom struggled in the first half of the match to catch consistently, before switching down his margin swim were he found that his maggot and groundbait produced a mixed bag of fish for a winning total weight of 94lbs 8oz. This gave Tom the perfect score of two points and this years winners cheque. In second on Skylark Lake was Ashley Miller on end Peg 17 with 90lbs 4oz to win his section. Over on Falcon Lake high weights were once again the order of the day with Steve Gregory (Middy/Miracle Baits) Peg 2 putting 165lbs 0oz of F1 Carp on the scales and giving him a final day score of three points and second overall in the festival on weight. In second on Falcon Lake was Toby Pepper (Westwood Lakes) Peg 22 with 163lbs 0oz to win his section.
